If you have accessed this site using the web address link 'http://monitoring.emra.gov.uk' please note that this site is no longer live and the link should not be used. Please bookmark http://monitoring.emcouncils.gov.uk which is the new link to this site. From 1 April 2010, the extant Regional Spatial Strategy and Regional Economic Strategy came together to form a new Regional Strategy. This site will be further developed to reflect this change. For more information on the Regional Strategy see the Regional Strategy website http://www.emregionalstrategy.co.uk.Currently this website displays the data that has been collected each year from local authorities to support the production of the East Midlands Regional Spatial Strategy (Regional Plan) Annual Monitoring Report (AMR). The data held on this site covers each of the main topic sections in the Regional Spatial Strategy namely housing, the economy, the environment, minerals and waste and transport. In collecting data from local authorities across the East Midlands it is our intention that as far as possible the data within this online database should match data published in local authority Local Development Framework monitoring reports. Within this site you can access: • AMRs published by the East Midlands Regional Assembly from 2001/02 onwards and datasets held from 2003/04. • Studies and research commissioned to support our monitoring function • Links to Government and national sources of planning statistics and Government Guidance on monitoring and reviewing regional spatial strategies. We hope you find this a useful resource and would welcome any feedback and suggestions for improvement. Please send your comments to peter.williams@emcouncils.gov.uk |
